Sowjanya Saree Mandir was founded in 2006 by Sri Donthu Kondaiah, inspired by his father, Shri Donthu Sanjeevi, a renowned Venkatagiri weaving artisan. His vision was to bring high-quality, authentic handloom sarees to a wider audience while preserving tradition.

Shri Donthu Sanjeevi, a master craftsman, dedicated over three decades to perfecting the art of handwoven textiles, creating timeless designs like Jyothi and Butta. His expertise earned him the Jamdhani Award for Weaving in 1987, presented by Shri Ramaswamy Venkataraman, then-President of India.

Today, Sowjanya Saree Mandir continues this rich legacy, offering exquisite sarees that embody the artistry and dedication passed down through generations.
